The International Agatha Christie Festival takes place in the vibrant, cosmopolitan town of Torquay, the birthplace of the Queen of Crime. Torquay is one of four charismatic seaside towns that make up Agatha Christie’s Riviera.

The railway station is only a few minutes walk from the festival venue, hosted at the beautifully preserved ancient monastery of Torre Abbey.

Christie fans can also walk the Agatha Christie Mile and visit nearby Greenway, her former home now being looked after ‘for ever, for everyone’, by the National Trust.
